Nailed To The Cross The New Covenant Bottom of the page The New Covenant The Fulfillment of the Law The New Covenant Nailed to the cross Christ Redeemed Us nailed to the cross the law of the spirit and death is hung on the cross redeeming mankind from the curse of sin and death through his death on the cross. You've perfectly summarized a core doctrine of Christianity: redemption from the curse of sin and death through Jesus' death on the cross. Let's unpack what each part of that statement means in Christian theology: "Redeeming mankind": Redeem means to "buy back " or "pay a price for something lost or forfeited." In ancient times, it could refer to buying a slave's freedom or repurchasing property. In a spiritual sense, mankind was "lost" or "enslaved" to sin and its consequences. Jesus "bought back" humanity's freedom. "From the curse of sin and death": Sin: In Christianity, sin is not merely a mistake but an active rebellion against God's holy nature and perfect will. It's disobedience and a breaking of God's law. Curse of Sin : The Bible teaches that sin brought a curse upon creation and humanity. This curse manifests as: Spiritual Death: Separation from God, which is the ultimate source of life. Physical Death : The eventual cessation of biological life. Spiritual Bondage: The inability to overcome sin's power on one's own. Condemnation : The just judgment and punishment from a holy God. The "curse" also relates to the consequences described in Genesis 3 after the Fall – toil, pain, fractured relationships, and mortality. "Through his death on the cross": This is the means by which redemption is achieved. Atonement: Jesus, being fully God and fully man, lived a perfect, sinless life. His death on the cross is understood as a substitute (vicarious) atonement. He took upon Himself the penalty and punishment for humanity's sins, satisfying the demands of divine justice. Sacrifice: His death is seen as the ultimate sacrifice, the perfect Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Victory: While appearing to be a defeat, the cross is also understood as the place where Jesus disarmed the powers of darkness, cancelled the legal debt of sin, and ultimately triumphed over sin and death (especially when combined with His resurrection). In essence, because of sin, humanity was under a divine curse leading to death and separation from God. Jesus, by willingly dying on the cross, paid the ultimate price, thereby redeeming those who believe in Galatians 3:12 The law, however, is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The man who does these things will live by them.” 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. … COLOSSI ANS 2:13-15 13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. New Covenant The New Covenant is a central concept in Christian theology, representing a fundamental shift in God's relationship with humanity, as promised in the Old Testament and established through Jesus Christ in the New Testament. It stands in contrast to the Old Covenant (or Mosaic Covenant), which was established with Israel through Moses at Mount Sinai, centered on the Law. Here's a breakdown of the New Covenant: 1. Old Testament Prophecies of the New Covenant The idea of a "new covenant" was first prophesied in the Old Testament, most famously in: Jeremiah 31:31-34: "Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." Other prophets like Ezekiel also hint at a new spirit and new heart (e.g., Ezekiel 36:26-27). And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. These prophecies highlight the perceived failures of the Old Covenant (people broke it) and hint at a more internal, trans formative covenant. 2. Establishment of the New Covenant in Christ Christians believe the New Covenant was inaugurated by Jesus Christ through His life, death, and resurrection: His Blood: Jesus explicitly links the New Covenant to His blood during the Last Supper: "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." (Luke 22:20; Matthew 26:28; 1 Corinthians 11:25). His sacrificial death is the basis for this new agreement. His Fulfillment of the Law: Jesus is seen as fulfilling the Old Covenant Law (Matthew 5:17), not abolishing it, but bringing it to its intended goal and perfection. He satisfied its righteous demands. His Resurrection and the Holy Spirit: The New Covenant is made effective through the power of the Holy Spirit, whom Jesus sent after His resurrection and ascension. 3. Key Characteristics of the New Covenant The New Covenant contrasts with the Old Covenant in several significant ways: Internal vs. External: The Law of the Old Covenant was primarily external, written on stone tablets. The New Covenant involves God's Law being written on the heart and mind (Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8:10), implying an internal transformation and desire to obey. Forgiveness of Sins: A central promise of the New Covenant is the forgiveness of sins, where God declares, "I will remember their sin no more" (Jeremiah 31:34; Hebrews 8:12). This forgiveness is achieved through Christ's sacrifice. Direct Access to God: Under the Old Covenant, access to God was mediated through priests and rituals. Under the New Covenant, believers have direct access to God through Christ (Hebrews 4:14-16, 10:19-22). Empowerment by the Holy Spirit: Instead of relying on human effort to keep the Law (which consistently failed), the New Covenant provides the Holy Spirit to empower believers to live righteously and obey God's will (Ezekiel 36:27; Romans 8:3-4). Relationship of Grace and Faith: While the Old Covenant had elements of grace, the New Covenant is overwhelmingly characterized by grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, rather than through perfect adherence to legalistic rituals or commands (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:21-26). Universal Scope: While the Old Covenant was primarily with the nation of Israel, the New Covenant extends to all who believe, both Jews and Gentiles, forming a "spiritual Israel" or the Church (Galatians 3:28-29; Romans 10:12). 4. Significance for Christians For Christians, the New Covenant signifies: Salvation : It's the basis for salvation and reconciliation with God. New Life: It inaugurates a new way of life characterized by an internal transformation and empowerment by the Holy Spirit. Fulfillment: I t demonstrates God's faithfulness in fulfilling His ancient promises. Foundation of the Church: It is the foundation upon which the Christian Church is built. In summary, the New Covenant, established through Jesus Christ, is understood as a superior and everlasting covenant that brings forgiveness, internal transformation, direct access to God, and empowerment by the Holy Spirit, all based on God's grace and received through faith. Gods Instructions Gods unchanging laws The Fulfillment of the Law The Fulfillment of the Law 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. 17Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. 18For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until

  • Are you Born again | Answers 4 Saints

Are you Born again Worship God in Spirit and Truth The Gospel Deuteronomy 13 TEST Are you a true Christian? John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Meaning: “God so loved the world” — God's love extends to all people. “He gave his one and only Son” — God sent His Son for the salvation of mankind. “Whoever believes in him” — The promise is available to anyone who places their faith and trust in Him. “Shall not perish” — Believers are delivered from eternal separation from God. “But have eternal life” — They receive everlasting life with God. Simple Summary: John 3:16 teaches that God loved humanity so much that He gave His Son so that those who believe in Him may receive eternal life rather than perish. Context: These words were spoken by Jesus during a conversation with Nicodemus about the necessity of being born again and entering the Kingdom of God. Are you Born again Yes, that is a profound structural truth in God's plan. Yeshua was literally the first human to be physically raised from the dead into an immortal, glorified body. Scripture calls Him "the firstborn from the dead" (Colossians 1:18) and the "firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep" (1 Corinthians 15:20). By looking at Christ's physical resurrection, we get the exact blueprint for what happens to the saints. The Pattern: Firstfruits and the Harvest In the biblical agricultural cycle—which God uses to explain His plan of salvation—the priest would wave the single sheaf of the Firstfruits harvest before the Father. Only after that first sheaf was accepted could the rest of the harvest be gathered. Yeshua fulfilled this perfectly. He rose as the perfect Firstfruits. Because He broke the power of physical death, those who belong to Him will follow the exact same pattern when He returns. The Ultimate Transformation When the saints are raised at His second coming, they don't return as temporary, mortal flesh like Lazarus did. They receive a physical, permanent, immortal body just like the one Yeshua walked out of the tomb with. As Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:52-53: "...the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." Connecting Physical Resurrection to the Law This physical reality hits modern church traditions with an undeniable challenge: If Yeshua is the firstborn of a brand-new creation, and we are waiting to be physically raised into glorified bodies just like His, why would we live our temporary lives in rebellion to the laws He obeyed? When Yeshua walked the earth in His physical body, He perfectly kept the Sabbath, the dietary laws, and the Feasts. When He rose from the dead, He didn't change. For a Christian to claim they are waiting to inherit a resurrection body like Christ's, while actively treating His Father's commandments as dead, is a total disconnect. "Yeshua told Nicodemus that what is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit, moving like the wind. If you claim you are already fully 'born again' right now, why are you still trapped in a temporary body of flesh and blood instead of a glorified, immortal spirit body? Are you confusing the earnest promise of the Holy Spirit inside you today with the actual, physical rebirth that only happens at the resurrection of the dead?" Jesus Teaches Nicodemus 3 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.[ a ]” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit[ b ] gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You[ c ] must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”[ d ] 9 “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked. 10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.[ e ] 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,[f ] 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 1. "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart" Meaning: Total dependence on God, not self-reliance (Prov 28:26). Insight: Relational surrender to God’s unchanging character. 2. "And lean not unto thine own understanding" Meaning: Reject intellectual pride; human wisdom is flawed (Prov 14:12). 3. "In all thy ways acknowledge him" Meaning: Constant God-consciousness in every area (Col 3:17). Insight: Turns daily life into guided obedience. 4. "And he shall direct thy paths" Meaning: God’s promise of sovereign guidance (Ps 37:23).

As you read in the verses Paul makes it clear also, if you are led by the spirit you are not under the law, (Keeping this in mind sin is transgression of the law.) So, if you are not keeping Yehovah laws and statutes you are under the law, because there is no law against keeping His laws. A. How You Get In vs. How You Walk Paul’s Focus: Paul was dealing with a massive crisis: institutional religious leaders were telling Gentile converts that they couldn't be saved unless they underwent ritual circumcision and converted to Judaism before trusting in Yeshua (Acts 15:1). Paul fought this fiercely. He argued that a person is justified (cleared of their past guilt) by faith in Yeshua's sacrifice, not by their own track record of keeping the law. You cannot earn your way out of past sins. Yeshua’s Focus: Yeshua was speaking to people who already knew the Torah but were faking it. He focused on how a saved person walks. Once you are in the covenant by faith, obedience is the fruit of your love for Him. B. "Works of the Law" vs. "The Commandments" When Paul uses the phrase "works of the law" (especially in Galatians and Romans), he isn't talking about God's Ten Commandments or the Sabbath. In the first-century Hebrew mind, "works of the law" (ma'asei ha-torah) referred to man-made religious decrees, traditional conversion rituals, and legalistic checklists used to separate Jews from Gentiles. Paul fought man-made legalism, but he loved God’s literal law. He explicitly wrote: "The law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good" (Romans 7:12). C. The Target: The Great Harlot's Loophole The institutional church system (the "Great Harlot") took Paul's complex arguments about Gentile inclusion and twisted them into a license for lawlessness . They used Paul to create a loophole to throw out the Sabbath, ignore the dietary laws, and abandon the appointed feasts—the exact opposite of how Yeshua lived. If Paul actually taught that the Sabbath was abolished or that God's food laws didn't matter, he would have been a false prophet according to Deuteronomy 13. But Paul defended himself against that exact accusation in a Roman court: "I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, I worship the God of our fathers, believing everything laid down by the Law and written in the Prophets." — Acts 24:14 The Verdict The difference is not that Yeshua said "Obey" and Paul said "Don't." The truth is that Yeshua is the Standard, and Paul is the Commentary. Yeshua showed us what the perfect walk looks like. Paul explained how the rest of the world (the Gentiles) could be grafted into that exact same olive tree through faith (Romans 11). If anyone interprets Paul in a way that contradicts the clear, commandment-keeping lifestyle of Yeshua, they are doing exactly what Peter warned against: twisting Paul’s words into the error of the lawless. In 2 Peter 3:15-16, Peter refers to Paul as a "beloved brother" who wrote with wisdom given to him. Peter acknowledges that some of Paul's writings are hard to understand, noting that ignorant and unstable people twist them—along with "other Scriptures"—to their own destruction God righteousness is His Torah When we read The Torah keep in mind there is a difference between Gods law and the works of the law mans law .CONCLUSIONS The “no-law” doctrine has taken Paul’s “hard to understand writings They interpret the works of the law which is the oral law of the Jews to mean that the laws of God given through Moses are no more, and in so doing, have elevated Paul’s teachings above the teaching of Yeshua and the very words of God. The filter that should be used is that God does not change, He is not a God of confusion, He doesn't lie, or that scripture cannot be broken, and it is the whole duty of m an to keep all His commandments . The decrees of Yehovah are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The commandments of Yehovah are right, bringing joy to the heart . The commands of Yehovah are clear, giving insight into living. Reverence for Yehovah is pure, lasting forever. The laws of Yehovah are true; each one is fair. T hey are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb. They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for those who obey them. Psalm 19:7 The one who belongs listens and responds to Yehovah's words. If you don't listen and respond , it is because you don't belong to Yehovah." John 8:47 In 321 A.D., the “Christianized” Roman Emperor Constantine declared Sunday a day of rest, although it was in honor of the “venerable day of the sun,” hence the name of the day, not of the traditional Sabbath. Revelation 14 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, with him a hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Yeshua. The mark of God is a sign of protection over God's people. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 1. Ex. 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between you and me throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctifies you. Deuteronomy 6:4-94 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and your gates. Exodus 13: -10 6 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the Lord. 9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes , that the Lord's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.10 Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year. And LORD YEHOVAH said to him: “Go through within the city, within Jerusalem, and make a mark on the forehead of the men who groan and are tormented because of all the abominations and the evils that are done within her” What is the seal of the gift of the Holy Spirit? The seal of the Holy Spirit is God's means of protecting the believer. The Holy Spirit is God's seal of protection over the believer's life. Under this sacred seal, no man, demon, or any other thing can wrest the Christian from the secure position he has in Christ Yeshua. The seal represents the certainty that we receive from the Holy Spirit. Despite what our emotions tell us, despite what the lies of the enemy tell us, and despite what our own human reasoning tells us, we know that we belong to God because of the Holy Spirit, the seal of the promise of salvation. “When you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. he will guide you into all the truth, my life belongs to Him.” I must turn away from evil. Those who receive God's seal upon their foreheads are "God's commandment-keeping people." If you do the things God hates and refuse to keep His commandments and encourage others to do the same, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” NOT THE MARK OF GOD “YEHOVAH”

21 Steps to Salvation Calvinism vs Arminianism bottom of page click on God cannot stand the prayers of anyone who disobeys his Law. Proverbs 28:9 In Isaiah 66:15-17, we see that in the context of the Lord’s return, when He returns, He is clearly upset that people are eating pork. If He cares then, why would we assume that He does not care now? 1. Hear the True Gospel The first step of the build is listening to the unfiltered, original message of God. “From that time Yeshua began to preach and to say, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’” — Matthew 4:17 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32 What this means: You cannot build a straight wall if you are reading a warped blueprint. Hearing the true Gospel means listening to the actual Word of God—not human traditions, clever shortcuts, or watered-down messages that just make people feel good in the pew. It is the moment you hear the real standard for the very first time. 2. Believe the True Gospel True belief is not just agreeing with facts; it is placing your absolute confidence and weight on the message. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” — Hebrews 11:6 What this means: Believing means you look at the plumb line and say, "That string is perfectly straight, and I trust it completely." It is an inner conviction that drives you to action. If you don't truly believe the blueprint is accurate, you will never bother to change how you are laying your bricks. 3. Repent of Past Sins Repentance is a deliberate, U-turn in direction. It means stopping your lawlessness and turning back toward the Law of God. “I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” — Luke 13:3 What this means: Since 1 John 3:4 tells us that sin is breaking God's law, your old wall was naturally leaning and crooked. Repentance is the moment you drop your tools, admit your wall is out of line, and make a firm decision to tear down the old, lawless way of living so you can rebuild it straight. 4. Confess Faith in Yeshua Messiah Confession is the public declaration of who is in charge of your building site. “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” — Romans 10:10 What this means: Confession is nailing your colors to the mast. It means standing up and declaring out loud to the world, to the adversary, and to the assembly: "Yeshua is my Master, and I am building my life on His foundation from this day forward." 5. Be Baptized Baptism is the physical and spiritual washing away of the rubble from your old life. “Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Yeshua Messiah for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” — Acts 2:38 What this means: Going under the water is the formal burial of the old, crooked structure. You don't build a new house on top of old trash. You clear the lot. Baptism washes away the stain of past lawlessness so you can step out of the water onto a clean, solid foundation. 6. Be Faithful Unto Death Loyalty to the Creator must be absolute, even when the pressure of the world threatens to break you. “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” — Revelation 2:10 What this means: This is the ultimate test of the structure. When the storms of persecution, sickness, or trials hit the wall, a true believer refuses to let a single brick slip. It means your loyalty to the Master Builder stays intact even if holding the line costs you your physical life. 7. Obey Him for Eternal Salvation The author of salvation specifically identifies who His work is for: those who follow His instructions. “And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.” — Hebrews 5:9 What this means: The Master Builder only claims ownership of the walls that actually followed His blueprints. Faith that refuses to obey is an illusion. Salvation belongs to the people who don't just call Him "Lord," but who actually submit to His authority and do what He asks. 8. Live Exactly as Yeshua Did The Messiah's walk on this earth is the ultimate, flawless example for our daily lives. “He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” — 1 John 2:6 What this means: Yeshua is the living plumb line. If you want to know how to treat people, how to handle temptation, or how to keep God's commands, you look at His life. If a custom or a lifestyle choice doesn't square up with how Yeshua walked, it does not belong in your wall. 9. Do What the Word Says, Don't Just Listen True faith is an active, hands-on construction project, not a spectator sport. “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” — James 1:22 What this means: Sitting in a pew and nodding along with a sermon doesn't build anything. If you know what the Bible says but don't practice it on Monday morning, you are fooling yourself. True faith requires you to pick up the trowel and actually lay the bricks according to the instructions. 10. Possess the Spirit of Christ True conversion requires the supernatural presence of the Holy Spirit living inside you. “Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.” — Romans 8:9 What this means: The Holy Spirit is the gravity that keeps the plumb line straight. Without the Spirit living inside your heart, you have no power to keep the wall in line, and you don't belong to the Owner of the house. You must have His seal on the inside. 11. Receive the Holy Spirit Through Obedience God places His Spirit inside those who have a heart bent toward submission. “And we are His witnesses of these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.” — Acts 5:32 What this means: God does not pour His Holy Spirit into a vessel that intends to stay rebellious and lawless. The Spirit is given as a helper to help you keep the Law. When you step out in willingness to obey, God anchors His supernatural strength deep inside your life. 12. Call on the Name of Yeshua Messiah Deliverance and strength come from actively crying out to the authority and identity of the Son. “For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’” — Romans 10:13 What this means: When the wall is leaning, when your own strength fails, or when the enemy attacks, you don't rely on yourself. You call on the name and the legal authority of Yeshua. It is an active cry for help to the only One who has the power to hold the structure together. 13. Keep the Commandments to Enter Into Life When asked directly how to inherit eternal life, the Messiah pointed straight back to God's boundaries. “Jesus said to him... ‘If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.’” — Matthew 19:17 What this means: Commandments are not heavy burdens; they are the side-guards that keep the wall from warping. Since sin is breaking the law, keeping the commandments is how we show we love God and want our lives to stay completely square with His righteousness. 14. Trust the Son to Not Perish Escape from the penalty of lawlessness requires absolute reliance on the sacrifice of the Messiah. “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” — John 3:15,16 What this means: No matter how hard we try to build straight, our past sins would condemn us if not for Jesus. Trusting the Son means knowing that His blood covers our imperfections and saves our structure from facing the ultimate collapse of spiritual death. 15. Walk by Faith, Not by Sight The Christian walk requires trusting God’s structural blueprint even when circumstances look dark and confusing. “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 What this means: Sometimes the fog of life rolls in, and you can't see two feet in front of you. Walking by faith means you don't guess or look around at what everyone else is doing. You trust the plumb line in your hand because you know God's weight is true, even when your eyes can't see the top of the line. 16. Obey the Son to Avoid Angry Judgment Rejecting the instructions of the King leaves a person exposed to the holy consequences of rebellion. “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” — John 3:36 What this means: You cannot claim to believe in Jesus while actively refusing to listen to Him. Intentional disobedience is rebellion, and a wall built in open defiance of the Blueprints will eventually face inspection and be completely demolished under divine judgment 17. Be Born Again Salvation requires a radical, supernatural transformation from above—not just a superficial patch-job. “ Yeshua answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’” — John 3:3 What this means: God doesn't just want to fix a few cracks in your old wall; He wants to give you a brand-new nature. Yeshua told Nicodemus that what is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit, moving like the wind. If you claim you are already fully "born again" right now, why are you still trapped in a temporary body of flesh and blood instead of a glorified, immortal spirit body? Are you confusing the earnest promise of the Holy Spirit inside you today with the actual, physical rebirth that only happens at the resurrection of the dead? True rebirth replaces the temporary structure of flesh with an immortal house from heaven. 18. Produce Good Deeds So Faith Isn't Dead Active obedience and good fruit are the unmistakable evidence of a living faith. “Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” — James 2:17 What this means: Faith is invisible until it shows up in your actions. If someone claims to be a master builder but has never laid a single brick or done a single good deed, their claim is useless. True, saving faith will always show up clearly in the work you do for God's kingdom. 19. Worship God in Spirit and Truth True service to the Father requires complete honesty, removing the masks of religious pretense. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” — John 4:24 "What this means: This means stop pretending to be a flawless saint in the church pew if you are falling apart on the inside. Worshiping in truth means standing perfectly vertical before God, baring your soul, and saying, "Lord, here is exactly where my wall is leaning." Furthermore, Acts 5:32 states that God gives the Holy Spirit to those who obey Him. This principle emphasizes that a willing, obedient heart is a key condition for receiving and experiencing the empowering presence of the Spirit. If you do not have the Spirit of Christ, you are none of His. Because 1 John 3:4 warns that "sin is the transgression of the law," walking in the Spirit is the only way to overcome the flesh and keep from breaking God's boundaries. 20. Endure Until the End Salvation is a marathon, not a sprint. The prize is given to those who finish the entire construction project. “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” — Matthew 24:13 What this means: It’s not about how fast you start; it’s about whether your structure stands the test of time. True believers don't pack up their tools and walk away when the culture turns against them or when things get tough. They stay on the wall, checking the line, until the project is completely finished. 21. Be Grafted Into Israel Believers from the nations are joined directly into God’s original, enduring covenant family tree. “And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree...” — Romans 11:17 What this means: You are not a lone house sitting out on an island by yourself. By faith in the Messiah, God links your life directly into the great, historic fortress of His covenant people—Israel. You share in their root, their history, their promises, and their responsibilities to the King. 3 Commonly Misunderstood Bible Questions Answered For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. Many are called but few are saved. Matthew 22:14 And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; God has pronounced that the penalty of sin is spiritual death and separation from God in a place of judgment called hell: “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Jesus clearly taught that sinners were condemned in sin and would perish and go to hell if they didn't believe in Him as their Savior (John 3:16-18). Anyone who doesn’ t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.” John 3: Yeshua Messiah replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. ”John 3:3 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds , it is dead and useless. James 2:17-23 You must worship God in TRUTH and SPIRIT John 4:24 You must endure until the end to be saved . Matthew 24:13 We must be grafted into Israel. Romans 11:11-31 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Yeshua Messiah so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. Galatians 3:14 Explanation Obedience is a requirement for receiving the Holy Spirit, along with faith in Christ's sacrifice. Repentance, or turning away from sin and toward obedience, is also required. The Holy Spirit gives guidance and companionship, and enables people to obey, kill sin, and be sanctified. "Born of the Spirit" (regeneration) is a spiritual rebirth, a work of the Holy Spirit that gives us new life and makes us capable of understanding and responding to God. Without this spiritual birth, one cannot "see" or "enter" the Kingdom of God (heaven). 1. The Holy Spirit Indwells Believers as a Mark of Salvation :The Holy Spirit Indwells Believers as a Mark of Salvation: 2.The Holy Spirit is the Seal and Guarantee of Our Inheritance : Ephesians 1:13-14: "In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory." 3. The Holy Spirit Regenerates and Gives New Life: 4. The Holy Spirit Sanctifies and Transforms Us: Chist redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: " Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. " He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Yeshua Messiah so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. Galatians 3:14 The decrees of Yehovah are trustworthy , making wise the simple. The commandments of Yehovah are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of Yehovah are clear, giving insight into living. Reverence for Yehovah is pure , lasting forever. The laws of Yehovah are true ; each one is fair. They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb. They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for those who obey them. Psalm 19:7 The one who belongs listens and responds to Yehovah's words. If you don't listen and respond , it is because you don't belong to Yehovah." John 8:47 Some say that God's promises to those who obey him include: Being blessed Being saved Being watched over Being taken care of Being given what you ask for Being happy Living longer Lacking nothing good God's Law Reflects God's Character (Who He Is): The ultimate source of all truth is God Himself. He is perfectly holy, just, righteous, good, and loving. His law, therefore, is not arbitrary rules, but an expression of His very nature. It reveals what is inherently true, good, and right because it stems from the perfectly true, good, and righteous God. Psalm 119:142 says, "Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And Your law is truth. " This verse directly links God's righteousness (His character) with His law being truth. The Law as Divine Instruction and Revelation: In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word "Torah" (often translated as "Law") literally means "instruction," "teaching," or "guidance." It's not just a list of prohibitions, but a comprehensive revelation of God's will and wisdom for how humanity should live and how they can have a relationship with Him. Since God is truth, His instructions are true. They accurately describe reality, the nature of good and evil, and the path to genuine life and flourishing. Psalm 19:7-9 beautifully describes the law: "The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether." Notice the consistent emphasis on truth, purity, and righteousness. The Law Exposes Sin and Points to Reality: The law serves as a mirror, showing humanity its imperfection and sinfulness in contrast to God's perfect standard. In this sense, it is "true" because it accurately diagnoses the human condition. Romans 3:20 states, "for through the law comes knowledge of sin." The law truthfully reveals what is wrong, what deviates from God's intended design for creation and humanity. Jesus Christ Embodies and Fulfills the Law/Truth: Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). He is the ultimate revelation of God's truth. He also stated that He came not to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it (Matthew 5:17). He perfectly lived out the Law and, through His sacrifice, perfectly satisfied its righteous demands on behalf of humanity. Therefore, the truth found in the Law ultimately points to and is embodied by Jesus Christ. The Law Guides Towards a True and Abundant Life: Living in accordance with God's law, empowered by the Holy Spirit, leads to a life that is truly abundant, meaningful, and aligned with God's design. This is not about earning salvation, but about living out the reality of being a new creation in Christ. The moral principles embedded in the law are timeless and beneficial for human flourishing, regardless of one's belief system. For example, honesty, faithfulness, and respect for life are universally recognized as good. In summary, when we say "the law is truth," we mean that God's law is a direct reflection of His unchanging, perfect, and truthful character. It is a divine revelation that accurately defines reality, distinguishes right from wrong, exposes sin, and ultimately points to Jesus Christ as the fulfillment of all truth and the source of true righteousness. It provides guidance for a life that is genuinely good and pleasing to God. Key Differences and Implications The Reformed (Calvinist) Order of Salvation The Armenian/Wesleyan Order of Salvation What is the Order of Salvation? The ordo salutis (Latin for "order of salvation") is a theological construct in Christian soteriology that describes the logical (not always strictly chronological) sequence of God's saving acts applied to the believer. It originates from Reformed theology but has been adapted across traditions, highlighting the interplay between divine sovereignty and human response Rooted in passages like Romans 8:29–30 (the "golden chain" of salvation), it underscores salvation as God's initiative from eternity to consummation. While all orthodox Christians affirm the core elements—such as Christ's atonement, faith, justification, and glorification—the order varies significantly between Reformed (Calvinist) and Arminian /Wesleyan views. Reformed theology prioritizes monergism (God's sole work), placing regeneration before faith, while Arminianism emphasizes synergism (cooperation via free will enabled by grace), placing faith before regeneration. The Reformed (Calvinist) Order of Salvation In this view, salvation begins with God's eternal decree and proceeds irresistibly, with human faith as a result of divine regeneration rather than its precondition. A typical sequence includes: Election/Predestination: God's sovereign choice of individuals before creation, based on His will alone (Ephesians 1:4–5). Calling: An outward gospel proclamation and inner, effectual call by the Spirit (Romans 8:30). Regeneration: The Holy Spirit imparts new spiritual life to the elect, enabling faith (Titus 3:5; Ezekiel 36:26). Conversion (Faith and Repentance): The regenerated sinner trusts Christ and turns from sin, as gifts from God (Ephesians 2:8–9). Justification: God declares the believer righteous, imputing Christ's merit (Romans 5:1). Adoption: Believers enter God's family as heirs (Galatians 4:4–7). Sanctification: Progressive growth in holiness, empowered by the Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Perseverance: God's preservation of the saints unto the end (Philippians 1:6). Glorification : Final perfection at Christ's return (Romans 8:30). This order emphasizes that no one can contribute to their salvation, avoiding any implication of merit. The Arminian/Wesleyan Order of Salvation Arminians stress prevenient (preceding) grace that restores free will to all sinners, making faith the condition for receiving salvation's benefits. Regeneration follows faith, and perseverance is conditional on continued belief. Roger Olson's classical Arminian sequence is: Electing Grace in Christ: God's election of all who will believe (foreseen faith). Atonement: Christ's universal provision for sinners. Prevenient Grace: God's enabling grace through the gospel, convicting and illuminating (Titus 2:11). Conversion (Repentance and Faith): The sinner's free response to believe and repent. Regeneration, Justification, Adoption , Union with Christ, Indwelling Spirit: Initial saving acts upon faith (John 3:3–5; Romans 5:1). Sanctification: Progressive (and potentially entire) holiness. Glorification: For those who persevere through faith. A broader Arminian outline includes universal/resistible calling before faith, with sanctification open to full freedom from sin's power in Wesleyan thought. Key Differences and Implications Faith vs. Regeneration: Reformed: Regeneration causes faith (monergistic). Arminian: Faith precedes and conditions regeneration (synergistic). Election: Reformed: Unconditional (individual selection). Arminian: Conditional (based on foreseen faith or corporate election in Christ). Calling and Perseverance: Reformed: Irresistible and guaranteed. Arminian: Resistible and dependent on human cooperation. Practical Ramifications: Reformed views foster assurance in God's sovereignty; Arminian emphasizes responsibility and warning against apostasy (Hebrews 6:4–6). These frameworks unite in affirming salvation by grace through Christ alone, differing mainly in emphasis to guard biblical truths like sovereignty (Reformed) and love for all (Arminian). Notice that following repentance is the remission of sins, which baptism signifies, symbolically dying to sin and resurrection to a new life. The only way you can enter the Kingdom of God is by being born again, thru repentance and baptism. Baptism/The Holy Spirit The Mark of the Beast The one who practices, sin is lawlessness, separating themselves from God, and offending God by action or neglect or by tolerating wrongdoing—being unrestrained by His commands and His will 1John 3:4. acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion they show they belong to the devil and take his inner character and moral values from him, not God] 1 John 3:8 (666) Gods excape plan for His children Trubulation 1. The Warning for Those Who Take the Mark Revelation 14:9–11 (ESV) "And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, 'If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God's wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.'" 2. The Punishment of the Devil Revelation 20:10 (ESV) "And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." 3. The Final Judgment of Both Revelation 20:15 (ESV) "And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." Summary The Scripture makes a direct link between the fate of the devil, the beast, and those who take the mark: all are cast into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the torment is described as eternal ("day and night forever and ever"). In Jesus' words elsewhere in Scripture, this destination is explicitly described as being prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.'" Christianity, the most lawless religion on earth You can be sure the False Prophet and the Man of Lawlessness will certainly come from the only religion that has promoted and pushed Lawlessness (not obeying God’s Laws) since the beginning. Keeping in mind that Christianity, the most lawless religion on earth since it actually forbids observing God’s Law, is over 30% of the world, so we got our first indication of what kind of percentage we might be looking at taking the mark. If you do the things God hates and refuse to keep His commandments and encourage others to do the same, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” NOT THE MARK OF GOD “YEHOVAH” The Mark of the Beast 16 And the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark— the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 Here is a call for wisdom: Let the one who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and that number is 666. The Messages of the Three Angels 6 Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. 7 And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.” 8 Another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passions of her sexual immorality.” 9 And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.” Matthew 10:21-22 21 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 22 You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. T his self-reflection test is designed to cut through the confusion and fear often surrounding this topic. In Scripture, the "marks" are not about hidden microchips or literal ink tattoos; they represent ownership, allegiance, and what rules your mind (the forehead) and your actions (the hand). Answer Yes or No honestly to each question to examine whose mark you bear in your daily life. The Allegiance & Identity Test The Ultimate Authority: When a choice comes down to following God’s explicit commandments versus following the crowd, the culture, or human convenience, do I choose God's way? The Mind (The Forehead): Is my mind primarily occupied with Scripture, truth, and how to honor God, rather than being consumed by the fears, anger, and philosophies of the world? The Actions (The Hand): Do the physical works of my hands—my labor, how I spend my money, and how I treat my family and neighbors—reflect God’s righteousness and justice? The Source of Security: In times of economic trouble or societal pressure, do I rely entirely on God to provide for and protect my household, rather than putting my ultimate trust in human systems? Open Allegiance: Am I willing to stand firmly for my faith and God's truth even if it means facing disapproval, loss, or being cut off by others? Worship in Truth: Is my worship rooted in an internal reality and a desire to keep His laws, rather than just an empty ritual or a standard routine to look good to others? Understanding the Biblical Meaning In the Bible, the concept of a "mark" is deeply symbolic of identity and ownership. It shows who has your allegiance. The Mark of God (The Seal) : In the Book of Revelation and Ezekiel, God places a seal or mark on the foreheads of those who belong to Him. This mirrors Deuteronomy 6:8, where God tells His people to bind His commandments as a sign on their hands and as frontlets between their eyes (their foreheads). It means your thoughts and your actions are dedicated to keeping His laws. The Mark of the Beast: This is the direct counterfeit. It represents a mind (forehead) and a lifestyle (hand) that has completely surrendered to the world's corrupt system, willful disobedience, and rebellion against God's commandments for the sake of survival, comfort, or fit-in convenience. "Bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." — Deuteronomy 6:8-9 "Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads." — Revelation 14:1 Reflecting on Your Answers If your life aims toward "Yes": Take heart. If you are actively striving to keep God’s commandments, relying on His Spirit, and trusting Him for your security, you bear the identity of a child of God. Perfect performance isn't the metric—the direction of your allegiance is. If you see areas of "No": It is a clear reminder of where the world or the flesh is trying to press you into its mold. If fear of the future or the pressure of the culture is driving your choices rather than God’s word, it is an invitation to draw a line in the sand. Repent, refuse to bow to worldly compromise, and commit your mind and hands fresh to the Lord today. 14 Because of the signs it was given to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived those who dwell on the earth, telling them to make an image to the beast that had been wounded by the sword and yet had lived. 15 The second beast was permitted to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship it to be killed. 16And the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead,… The Mark of the Beast seal is not a physical mark. The forehead represents the mind of those who make a consonance decision to disobeys God Commandments, and The mark on the hand represents worship on Sunday. forsaking Gods Sabbaath Saturday Something to think about Nebuchadnezzar's Dream Worship the beas t Daniel 3:9 They said to King Nebuchadnezzar, “Long live the king! 10 You issued a decree requiring all the people to bow down and worship the gold statue when they hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes, and other musical instruments.the statue was made for a specific purpose. With it, the king would demand total obedience and humiliation from his governmental underlings. And Daniel warns the dream means that God's Kingdom is coming to crush all other kingdoms (Daniel 2:44). But Nebuchadnezzar ignores the warning and builds a 90-foot tall statue (or image) of himself. He demands that all his politicians bow down and worship his image (Daniel 3:1, 5). 4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. 5 You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him, there is no sin. 6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother. The beast is that which “…will speak out against the Most High and oppress the saints of the Most High, intending to change the appointed times and laws; and the saints will be given into his hand for a time, and times, and half a time.” This change of appointed times and Laws happened in 364CE when the Law was changed and the 4Th Commandment was replaced, moving the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday in the Council of Laodicea. The “saints” were also mandated to be oppressed by canon law in the very same council and have been at the mercy of the Beast ever since, until 1948 . The Beast, none other than the Roman Empire that “destroyed the holy city and the sanctuary”, then suffers a mortal head wound, Caesar, but does not die. Instead, it is reborn the Holy Roman Empire with a Pope at its head. Certainly not all of them, but if my guess is close, it will be many. Christianity is the only religion that accepts a “man” to be “God”, Judaism and Islam will never accept a human claiming to be God. This is the very “Man of Lawlessness” that will sit in the holy place and declare himself God—something the Romans have always enjoyed doing to their rulers.

Comparison: Exodus vs. Tribulation You’ll notice some striking similarities between the 10 plagues of the Exodus (which we just discussed for Passover) and the 21 judgments of the Tribulation. This is often seen as a biblical "echo": Water to Blood: In Exodus, it was just the Nile; in the Tribulation (Trumpets and Bowls), it affects all the seas and rivers. Boils/Sores: I n Exodus, this was the 6th plague; in the Tribulation (1st Bowl), it strikes those who have the Mark of the Beast. Darkness: In Exodus, it lasted three days; in the Tribulation (5th Bowl), it plunges the kingdom of the Beast into darkness. Locusts: In Exodus, they were literal insects; in the Tribulation (5th Trumpet), they are described as "demonic" locusts with stings like scorpions. The Key Difference In the Exodus, the 10 plagues were sent to a specific location (Egypt) to free a specific people. In the Tribulation, these 21 judgments are global, intended to lead the world to repentance before the final judgment. Since you've been looking into the Book of Revelation and the Lamb's Book of Life recently, would you like me to find the specific verses where these "Bowl" judgments begin, or perhaps a timeline of how the Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls overlap? To help you visualize how these events unfold in the Book of Revelation, here is a breakdown of the 21 Judgments and how they overlap throughout the Tribulation period. Timeline of the 21 Judgments Most scholars view these judgments as a "telescoping" sequence: the 7th Seal opens the 7 Trumpets, and the 7t h Trumpet opens the 7 Bowls. 1. The 7 Seals (The Beginning of Sorrows) 1st Seal: The White Horse (The Antichrist rises as a false peacemaker). 2nd Seal: The Red Horse (Global war and civil strife). 3rd Seal: The Black Horse (Famine and hyperinflation). 4th Seal: The Pale Horse (Death of one-fourth of the world's population). 5th Seal: The Souls Under the Altar (Martyrdom of those who turn to God). 6th Seal: The Great Earthquake (Sun turns black, moon turns to blood). 7th Seal: Silence in Heaven (The 7 Trumpets are prepared). 2. The 7 Trumpets (Increasing Severity) 1st Trumpet: Hail and fire mixed with blood (1/3 of the earth’s vegetation burned). 2nd Trumpet: A "great mountain" falls into the sea (1/3 of the sea becomes blood). 3rd Trumpet: The star "Wormwood" falls (1/3 of fresh water becomes bitter). 4th Trumpet: 1/3 of the sun, moon, and stars are darkened. 5th Trumpet: Locusts from the Bottomless Pit (5 months of torment). 6th Trumpet: Four angels released from the Euphrates (Death of 1/3 of humanity). 7th Trumpet: The Kingdoms of the World (The 7 Bowls are prepared). 3. The 7 Bowls (The Final Wrath) 1st Bowl: Malignant sores on those with the Mark of the Beast. 2nd Bowl: The entire sea turns to blood (all sea life dies). 3rd Bowl: All rivers and springs turn to blood. 4th Bowl: The sun scorches people with fierce heat. 5th Bowl: Total darkness over the kingdom of the Beast. 6th Bowl: The Euphrates River is dried up (preparing for the Battle of Armageddon). 7th Bowl: "It is Done" (The greatest earthquake in history and 100-lb hailstones). The Parallel to the "First Death" In your recent study of the "Second Death" (Revelation 20:14), these judgments represent the final warnings for the living. While the 10 plagues of Exodus led to the physical freedom of Israel, these 21 judgments lead to the final spiritual separation of those written in the Lamb's Book of Life from those who are not. Since we've looked at the timeline, would you like to see the specific verses in Revelation 16 that describe the final "Bowl" judgments, or perhaps more on how the Mark of the Beast relates to the first Bowl? Since you are focusing on the Bowl Judgments (often called the "Vials of Wrath"), it’s important to see how they differ from the Seals and Trumpets. While the earlier judgments affected one-fourth or one-third of the earth, the Bowls are "full" and affect everything—they are the final strokes before the return of Christ. Here is the breakdown of the specific verses in Revelation 16 where these final plagues begin. The Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath (Revelation 16) 1st Bowl (v. 2): The Grievous Sores "The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image." 2nd Bowl (v. 3): The Sea Turns to Blood "The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died." (Unlike the 2nd Trumpet, which hit 1/3, this hits 100% of the ocean). 3rd Bowl (v. 4–7): Fresh Water Turns to Blood "The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood." 4th Bowl (v. 8–9): The Sun Scorches "The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire." Instead of repenting, the text says they cursed the name of God. 5th Bowl (v. 10–11): Darkness on the Throne "The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness." 6th Bowl (v. 12–16): The Euphrates Dries Up "The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East." This leads directly to the gathering at Armageddon. 7th Bowl (v. 17–21): "It Is Done" "The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air... there came a loud voice from the throne, saying, 'It is done!'" This triggers the greatest earthquake in human history and 100-pound hailstones. The Connection to the "Mark of the Beast" The 1st Bowl is specifically targeted at those who have taken the Mark of the Beast (Revelation 13:16-18). In your recent study of the Lamb's Book of Life, this is the "point of no return." Those who receive the mark are excluded from the book and become the primary targets of these final seven plagues. A Biblical Pattern: Passover vs. Revelation Just as the Israelites were protected in the land of Goshen while the 10 plagues hit Egypt, many interpret the Sealing of the 144,000 and the safety of the faithful as a modern "Passover." While the world faces the Bowls of Wrath, those in the Book of Life are seen as "passed over" by the Second Death. Since we are looking at the drying of the Euphrates in the 6th Bowl, would you like to see how that connects to the Battle of Armageddon, or should we look closer at the White T hrone Judgment where the books are finally opened?

Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice." . 16He saw that there was no man; He was amazed that there was no one to intercede. So His own arm brought salvation, and His own righteousness sustained Him.… Meaning: This passage describes a society where truth and honesty are so absent that they are practically non-existent, to the point where someone who tries to live righteously is vulnerable and becomes a target. It portrays a severe moral decline where justice is not pursued and evil is widely accepted. Christianity, the most lawless religion on earth You can be sure the False Prophet and the Man of Lawlessness will certainly come from the only religion that has promoted and pushed Lawlessness (not obeying God’s Laws) since the beginning. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” NOT THE MARK OF GOD “YEHOVAH” Teaching against obedience to God’s commandments is a betrayal of His Word because it directly undermines His authority in four ways: It Erases the Definition of Sin: Scripture explicitly defines sin as "the transgression of the law" (1 John 3:4). If you throw out the Law, you destroy the only boundary that defines right from wrong. It Defies Yeshua’s Direct Warning: The Messiah specifically warned that anyone who breaks the commandments and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom (Matthew 5:19).If "least" literally meant a low-ranking person inside the Kingdom, Yeshua would be saying that a carnal, commandment-breaking believer is somehow spiritually superior to John the Baptist. That makes no sense. But if "least" means the person who hasn't even entered yet (the mortal believer still waiting on the outside), the phrase makes perfect sense. It Replaces Divine Truth with Human Tradition: Bypassing God's Feasts, dietary laws, and Sabbath always leads to a common substitution—making the Word of God "of none effect" through human traditions (Mark 7:13). It Separates Faith from True Loyalty: Scripture states, "This is the love of God, that we keep his commandments" (1 John 5:3). Teaching against obedience strips believers of the concrete actions required to show true covenant loyalty. The Bottom Line: Telling people they are free to ignore the Father's instructions mimics the very first deception in the Garden: "Yea, hath God said...?" It doesn't just misinterpret Scripture; it actively trains people to live in comfortable transgression. Yeshua the Messiah Modern Christianity He kept the Leviticus food laws. Eat unclean He kept the seventh day Sabbath Holy Observe Sunday Yeshua is the LORD of the Sabbath. Only for the Jews He kept all of God’s feast days. Observe Christmas, Easter He kept all God’s commandments and statutes. Done away with He was totally submersed during baptism. Without repentance Gospel message coming to Kingdom Death burial and resurrection Sin is the transgression of the law Ten suggestions He wore tassels on the hems of his clothing. These statistics, highlighted in Barna research, indicate a shift toward moral relativism and syncretism among American Christians, prioritizing subjective experience over traditional doctrine. Key findings show that 72% argue that people are basically good. 71% consider feelings, experience, or the input of friends and family as their most trusted sources of moral guidance. 66% say that having faith matters more than which faith you pursue. 64% say that all religious faiths are of equal value. 58% believe that if a person is good enough, or does enough good things, they can earn their way into Heaven. 58% contend that the Holy Spirit is not a real, living being but is merely a symbol of God’s power, presence, or purity. 57% believe in karma. 52% claim that determining moral truth is up to each individual; there are no moral absolutes that apply to everyone, all the time Self-identified Christians are also likely to reject a number of biblical teachings and principles. For example, slightly less than half. (46%) believe that the marriage of one man to one woman is God’s plan for humanity, across all cultures; j ust 40% believe that when they die they will go to Heaven, but only because they have confessed their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as their savior; only one-third. 34% believes that people are born into sin and can only be saved of the consequences by Jesus Christ; just one-third. 32% believes premarital sex is morally unacceptable; and about one out of every four. 28% believes that the best indicator of a successful life is consistent obedience to God. Teachings that are not found in your bible and are taught as truth. One compromise here, another there, and soon the so-called Christian and man in the world look alike a.w Tozer When Christians die, they go to heaven. They are in a better place. The Old Testament is for the Jews and the New Testament is for everyone else. No one can keep the commandments. You can live like the devil and still go to Heaven. God’s holy Sabbath's day of rest is done away with. The Sabbath was changed to Sunday because the Apostles met on the first day of the week. The Leviticus food laws, that God said don't eat or touch unclean meat, are only for the Jews. There is a secret rapture for Christians only, excluding them from the tribulation. The law of God was nailed to the cross. Carnal Christians are not under the law, but they are under Grace. Yeshua did it so we don't have to. Once saved always saved. Just ask Yeshua into your heart for salvation. The only requirement for Believing is acknowledging God’s existence. Baptism is just a symbolic meaning and is not required for salvation. The Gospel is the death burial and resurrection. Following God's instructions is legalistic. You are a Jew if you keep the food laws, the Sabbath, God's feast days, and all God's commandments like Yeshua did. It just matters what you feel in your heart, even if it is pagan. Yeshua's birth happened on December 25, and there were shepherds and sheep in the fields and Mary and Joseph were required to travel in the winter. The church can Christianize pagan holidays, like Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. Paul's misunderstood letters nullify God’s word and His instructions. A time will come when people will not listen to accurate teachings. Instead, they will follow their own desires and surround themselves with teachers who tell them what they want to hear. 2 Timothy 4:3 There are consequences— eternal consequences—to our actions. What we do is evidence of what we believe. Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. 8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest eternal life from the Spirit.
